Between Halloween hangovers and Election Day anxiety, this week may seem like a rough one. But not to fear, there are still plenty of fun events happening all over Los Angeles if you need a distraction. Whether you want to get lit or dance ’til dawn, you know Loop always has a pulse on what’s good in LA.

Movie Night at Bacari W. Adams
Every Monday this spooky season, Bacari W. Adams in downtown LA hosts a special movie night, featuring some of your favorite Halloween classics on the big screen. This week, come practice your witchcraft as Bacari will screen the 1998 flick Practical Magic. Tickets start at $35/per person and include a movi pass, your choice of a three-course meal from selected menu and unlimited flavored popcorn. They will also have $5 margaritas all night long and a 90-minute open bar special option for an additional $32.
When: Monday, Nov. 4 Seating starts at 7:30 p.m., Screening at 8 p.m.

Election Night Watch Party at The Continental Club
The 2024 Election Night is finally here. It’s been a rollercoaster of an election cycle and Election Night will most likely be no different. Grab a cocktail, sit back, and get ready for one of the most nail-biting election watch parties in history, hosted by Circa93 at The Continental Club. Seating first-come-first-serve. They will be showing the live coverage of election night on a new LED large screen with full surround sound and dishing out cocktail and shot specials all night. Bring your own food! (You can also visit the club’s neighbors Bar Ama and Pi LA in the alley). Doors open at 5 p.m. and the party will go ’til pretty late as the votes come in and the states start announcing their winning ticket. Might be a long night, but there will be plenty of booze to help you all cope.

1960s Mod Dance Party at Grand Star Jazz Club
Every Thursday, the historic Grand Star Jazz Club in Chinatown trandforms into Club Tears. This week, DJ Perksandkisses will lead a super fun 1960s mod-themed dance party so bust out your gogo boots, spray on your patchouli, and get down to your favorite rock ‘n roll, pop, doo-wop, soul, and Motown from one of the greatest decades of music. In addition to the night’s theme, they always play all kinds of retro hits from the ’50s and ’70s.

Mariah Carey After-Party at GYM Bar
Following Mariah Carey‘s Christmas Time concert at the Hollywood Bowl, head to GYM Bar WeHo for the ultimate after-party. Get ready to dance the night away, mingle with fellow lambs, and enjoy some fabulous splashes! The DJ will be playing Mariah Carey ALL NIGHT!

The Outlet LA‘s Nightcap Jazz/R&B Evening is back at the 18 Social Penthouse Lounge at Hotel Indigo. If you love R&B vibes, upscale environments, live music, dope people, tasty food and top-tier drinks, this is an event curated specifically for you. There will be live music, giant Jenga/Uno/Spades, signature drinks, a great selection of food and good vibes. Dress code is upscale elegant and chic.

Every Saturday, The Queensberry hosts a dramatic cocktail and discotheque experience like no other in Los Angeles.
