Night Treats at Resident DTLA

This Tuesday, la-underground presents Night Treats, a night of killer house music at Resident DTLA. Ocean Roulette (Desert Hearts, Box of Cats, Space Yacht) headlines the debut party, joined by Daisy P. (Jackson Collective), Osker Wilde (Box of Cats, My Techno Weighs a Ton), and Rouxbais (Night Treats).

Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy

The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy returns to L.A. for a haunting sequel that delves even deeper into the macabre. This time, the Poe Historians bring four new tales from Poe’s dark imagination to life, each paired with a fresh selection of chilling cocktails.

Paris At Night at Bootsy Bellows

National Lobster Day at The Lobster

This Wednesday, iconic seafood spot The Lobster will be celebrating National Lobster Day plus the 25th anniversary of its significant expansion to its stunning second-story location in Santa Monica.  The festivities will be open from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with entertainment, a hosted raw bar, and specialty cocktails.

In honor of its milestone anniversary, The Lobster will also offer a special $25 Anniversary Menu starting on Sept. 25 and continuing throughout October, showcasing four of the Michelin Plate-lauded restaurant’s signature dishes at just $25 each. Guests can savor favorites from acclaimed Chef Govind Armstrong like the celebrated lobster roll paired with a glass of bubbly, beer, or wine. In celebration of World Sake Day, sake brewers from across Japan and the US will descend upon OTOTO and Tsubaki, heavy with their brand new bottlings for this year as well as some rare and interesting sakes all available for tasting (50 + kinds!) and purchase. And since World Sake Day falls on an ever-so-inconvenient Tuesday this year (Oct 1), the festive event will take place this Sunday.
