Some nights are just nights. This one was THE night. LOOP After Dark’s It Girl takeover, hosted by actress and certified sweetheart Lilia Buckingham, turned Zouk LA into a universe of it-girl confidence, glamorous cocktails, and a perfectly curated thrill. The night was filled with memorable moments had by a stylish crowd of Lilia’s inner circle, influencers, creatives, industry regulars, and LOOP subscribers; every form of an “It Girl” imaginable.
Before the lights, the DJ, and the tequila officially took over, the evening started with an intimate dinner at The Hideaway Beverly Hills. Lilia gathered her closest girlfriends alongside LOOP editors for a table that looked like it had been ripped straight from her Pinterest board in the best way possible: velvet pink bows draped over plates, rose petals scattered like confetti, framed portraits from her LOOP photoshoot lined up like film stills from an It Girl origin story. The room glowed. The laughter sparkled. The vibe was very Lilia.
Cocktails clinked under soft candlelight, shared plates circled the table, and once Lilia ordered a round of shots, the night officially went from sweet to spectacular. LOOP founder and CEO Charles Ewudo raised a toast to her upcoming feature in LOOP’s inaugural print issue, thanking her for opening up her world to the magazine. “Tonight’s a reminder that we are the number one voice of luxury nightlife entertainment,” he said. “And we’re gonna have a ball tonight!”
And oh, we did.
Once everyone made their way to the #1 nightclub in Los Angeles, Zouk, LOOP After Dark flipped the switch from dinner party charm to full-scale nightlife fantasy. The open bar flowed, outfits flashed under the strobes, and you could feel it the second you walked in: this wasn’t just another LA night out. This was a LOOP night out.
Custom cocktails kept the mood high with a lineup that made everyone feel like that girl: The It Girl (Aspen vodka, lemon, Ghost Energy OG), the Lilia Espresso (Dios Azul tequila, espresso, liquor), In the Loop (The Botanist gin, Aspen vodka, Lillet Blanc), and the After Dark (Maker’s Mark, Campari, sweet vermouth). One sip and suddenly everyone was the star of their own mini-movie.
But the biggest unexpected star?
After The Tone.
The tiny red vintage telephone tucked inside the party became the It Girl accessory of the night. Guests picked it up to leave anonymous, wildly entertaining voice messages that swung between confessions, compliments, and chaotic commentary. Half art piece, half gossip line, all pure entertainment. At any given moment, someone was giggling into it, someone else was waiting in line for their turn, and the rest of the room was wondering what secrets were being spilled. It was the perfect mix of old-school charm and new-school energy, and by midnight, it had become an icon in its own right.
With Austin Mills on the decks, VIP tables stacked, and camera flashes going off every other second, the energy never dipped. Lilia glowed, danced, hugged her friends, and stayed impossibly gracious the entire time. She didn’t just match the night’s It Girl theme; she embodied it. Sweet, stylish, self-assured, and the undeniable heartbeat of the room.
By the time midnight arrived, the whole crowd had that unmistakable “we were so meant to be here” feeling. And honestly? They were.
