On Aug. 25, Australian ‘It Girl’ fashion brand I.AM.GIA celebrated the launch of its Platinum Collection with an epic house party in Los Angeles, hosted by the iconic Carmen Electra. The private residence mansion bash was reminiscent of the early 2000s MTV "Cribs" show, featuring hot luxury cars, a grand outdoor pool and a red carpet lined with “paparazzi.”
On Aug. 25, Jessica Simpson celebrated International Dog Day at PetSafe‘s Unleashed dog park event inside Westfield Century City Mall in Los Angeles. The "Public Affair" singer was joined by her daughter Maxwell and her goldendoodle Penny. Celebrity animal trainer Brandon McMillan was also on hand (..err paw).
The Bungalow Santa Monica held a star-studded edition of their summer Night Market series on Aug. 24 with proceeds going towards two Maui causes – the Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund and the Maui Humane Society. The event featured special appearances by Jason Momoa and Eva Longoria and a special vinyl DJ set by Anderson Paak as DJ Pee .Wee.

The MPTF NextGen Board hosted its 2023 NextGen Summer Party on the rooftop of NeueHouse Hollywood on Aug. 6. The special event celebrated the resilient Hollywood community and benefited the Motion Picture & Television Fund, an Academy Award-honored organization that supports working and retired members of the entertainment community with a safety net of health and social services. The party was emceed by Emmy Award-winning actor Darren Criss, who also served as the night’s musical guest.
